Charleston, SC | Development, Construction, Real Estate & Management

Located in the heart of Charleston’s Upper Peninsula, The Refinery offers 45,000 square feet of leasable space at a historic infill site bordering Kinder Morgan and neighboring the historic Standard Oil Company headquarters, now known as 1600 Meeting. Together the Refinery and 1600 Meeting campus incorporates renovated historic structures, tactical urban installations, and reclaimed resources to create an inspired hub of urban vitality. This former industrial landscape where Standard Oil once operated their refinery, is now where creativity and collaboration refine and revitalize the urban fabric.

In addition to creative office space, The Refinery includes 4,000 square feet of restaurant space, and over 8,000 square feet of street-level retail, plus a pedestrian plaza, outdoor amphitheater and rooftop terrace. With a design aesthetic inspired by its surroundings, the brick masonry and aluminum exterior features factory windows, and a repurposed rail car serves as a green room for the amphitheater performers.

The Refinery is where the performing arts and commerce come together, and business, music, food, creativity, and community are celebrated.
